guess what, life doesn't suck! well not all the time, and not in an emo-jared-leto-esque way, with lots of eyeliner and side parted hair-that my friends are for posers like 30 secconds to mars
so without further uneccesary adjecives, and deviations, I will explain to you when you realise that life doesn't suck:

I'll paint the picture too......."you are driving, and you're pretty content, and thinking about a great nightime snack. you are particularly tired this night, and are feeling awesome about getting home and doing nothing. against better judgement however you pull out your phone, and dial your home number, wanting to fill in your sister-parent-friend-partner about your night when...oh my god....no and

yes, I was involved in a scary accident, but with a parked car. I did not kill/hurt anyone, dogs, cats...
so that my friends is why life is good. A scary visit to the ambulance helped to reassess the situation. a very 'grey's anatomy-esque experience-stab wounds and all reminded me what an awesome thing it is not to be a heroin addict with a knife in my back!
After the short mourning of a car that has provided me and my sister with three years of solidarity, 'ole scratchy'/'chariot of fire'/'ole whitey' had finally been laid to rest.
you have served us well, old friend. despite the loss of a bumper bar, and a few cosmetic (superficial) scratches, you (hardly) ever let us down. Thanks for showing us the way, when independence was what we craved, and reminding us of how beauty is truly on the inside. Even when passers- by laughed at us, and scorned our scratchy demeanour, we drove bravely on.

today i am bitching and moaning about.....

'step'-fathers and their shitty, shitty attitudes
now...don't get me wrong, stepdaughters can have equaly shitty attitudes. We've all come to the conclusion that many attitudes of resistance, brattiness, spoiled-little-shit qualities come from freudian fucked up father-daughter relations and so-on and so-on.
However, certain people of certain maturity seem to live to just be 'difficult', they adore confrontation and massive blow up type fights because it distracts them from feelings of frustration and futility in their own lives. oh and plus, it means instant approval from ones spouse and a guaranteed feeling of satisfaction when they can harp on about negative qualities of spouse's children.

that throb of annoyance is so easily forgotten when you can ditch home, but then what happens when you have to revist, live those same old feelings again.
